Cookie Policy

Last updated 04 June 2026

Effective from 07 May 2026

This Cookies Policy explains how Trinetra Art uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on trinetraart.in. The policy is written to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the EU ePrivacy Directive 2002 58 EC as amended, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

For any question on this policy, please write to contact@trinetraart.in.

1. What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, to remember your preferences across sessions, and to provide information to the owners of the site about how visitors interact with it.

Some cookies are set by Trinetra Art directly (first party cookies). Some are set by trusted third parties whose services we use, such as our payment gateway and analytics provider (third party cookies).

2. Categories of cookies we use

2.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to function. They cannot be switched off in our system. They are usually set in response to actions taken by you that amount to a request for a service: setting your privacy preferences, signing in, or filling in forms.

Examples on Trinetra Art:

  • trinetra_session: keeps you signed in across pages
  • XSRF TOKEN: protects forms from cross site request forgery
  • cart_id: remembers items added to your cart before checkout

These cookies do not store personally identifiable information beyond what is required to deliver the requested service.

2.2 Functional cookies

These cookies remember choices you make, such as your selected market and currency, language preference, or whether you have dismissed a banner. They are not strictly necessary but they make the site easier to use.

Examples:

  • market: stores your selected country and currency for pricing display
  • theme_preference: light or dark mode preference
  • cookie_consent: records your consent choices on the cookie banner so we do not ask you again on every page

2.3 Analytics cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the website by collecting information anonymously. We use this data to improve the site experience, identify popular pages, and find broken navigation paths. Analytics cookies are placed only with your consent.

Examples:

  • _ga, ga*: Google Analytics 4, anonymised, retains usage data for 14 months
  • _clck, _clsk: Microsoft Clarity, session replays with all PII automatically masked

You can opt out of analytics cookies at any time by clicking "Manage cookies" in the footer or by adjusting your browser settings.

2.4 Marketing cookies

We currently do not place any marketing or advertising cookies. If we introduce them in future, they will be placed only with your explicit, prior consent through the cookie banner, and this policy will be updated to list them.

3. Third party cookies

Some third party services we use may set their own cookies on your device:

  • Razorpay (payments): essential checkout cookies during a transaction
  • PayU (payments): essential checkout cookies during a transaction
  • Stripe (international payments): essential checkout cookies during a transaction
  • Bunny CDN (content delivery): no tracking cookies, only edge routing
  • Google Fonts: no cookies; we self host where possible
  • Google Analytics 4: analytics cookies with consent

We do not control how these third parties use the data they collect. Please review their respective cookie and privacy policies on their websites.

4. Cookie retention

Strictly necessary and functional cookies expire when you close your browser, except for cookie_consent and market preference cookies which last 12 months for convenience. Analytics cookies expire 14 months after they are set or refreshed. We do not set any cookie with a retention period beyond 24 months.

5. Managing your cookie preferences

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Most browsers allow you to:

  • Accept or reject all cookies
  • Accept first party cookies but reject third party cookies
  • Be notified before any cookie is placed
  • Delete all cookies when you close the browser

Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the website such as the cart and the sign in flow.

To revisit your consent on Trinetra Art specifically, click the Manage cookies link in the website footer.

6. Do Not Track signals

We honour Do Not Track (DNT) signals sent by your browser. When DNT is enabled we automatically disable analytics cookies on your visit and treat it as a withdrawal of consent.

7. International transfers

Some of our service providers (Google, Microsoft, payment gateways) may process cookie data outside India or the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and on equivalent safeguards under Indian law to protect your data.

8. Changes to this Cookies Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our cookie practices evolve. The latest version is always published on this page with an updated "Effective from" date. Material changes will be highlighted on the cookie banner so you can review and re consent if required.
