These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern every purchase, browse, and account interaction with Trinetra Art ("we", "us", "our") through the website trinetraart.in and any affiliated channels. By placing an order, creating an account, or even just browsing, you ("you", "the customer", "the user") agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read carefully. If you do not accept any part of these Terms, please refrain from using the website or contact us first at contact@trinetraart.in.
1. About us
Trinetra Art is operated by Trinetra House, an Indian partnership firm registered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Our registered correspondence address and grievance officer details are listed at the end of this document. We curate and sell hand block printed textiles, hand carved wooden printing blocks, hand painted ceramics, and allied artisan products sourced from independent makers across India.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to make a purchase. By placing an order you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If you are buying on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for any activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at contact@trinetraart.in if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
3. Products and pricing
Every piece on Trinetra Art is hand made in small batches. Slight variation in colour, weave, weight, motif, and dimensions is intrinsic to the craft and is not a defect. The photographs on each product page are taken in studio with consistent lighting and reflect a representative example of the batch.
Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) by default and converted into your local currency at checkout where supported. The currency switch is approximate and may differ slightly from the final settlement rate applied by your card network or payment processor. The total payable shown on the checkout page in your selected currency is final at the moment of order placement.
We reserve the right to correct typographical errors, pricing errors, and stock errors discovered after an order is placed. In such a case we will contact you, offer a corrected price, and refund in full if you choose not to proceed.
4. Order placement and acceptance
When you place an order, the order constitutes an offer to buy on the terms stated. The order is accepted only when we send a confirmation email to the address on file. Until that confirmation email is sent, no contract exists between you and Trinetra Art.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to suspected fraud, payment failures, stock unavailability, shipping restrictions to the destination, or breach of these Terms. If we cancel a paid order, the full amount paid is refunded to the original payment method within ten business days.
5. Payment
We accept payments through trusted gateways including Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets) for Indian customers, PayU (cards, UPI, wallets, multi currency), Stripe (international cards) where applicable, and Cash on Delivery for select Indian pincodes. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; payment data is tokenised and processed by the gateway.
For international orders, the displayed price is exclusive of any import duty, customs clearance fee, or local sales tax that the destination country may impose. These charges are payable by the recipient at delivery and are outside our control.
6. Goods and Services Tax (GST) and invoicing
For orders shipped within India, prices are inclusive of GST at the applicable rate (typically 12% for handicraft and textile products under HSN 4202, 4420, 6911). A tax invoice with GSTIN, HSN code, and tax breakup is generated automatically and emailed within 24 hours of order confirmation. Business customers may request a B2B invoice with their GSTIN by writing to contact@trinetraart.in before shipment.
7. Shipping and delivery
Domestic orders are shipped via Delhivery, Bluedart, or India Post depending on pincode and weight. Indicative dispatch is two to four business days from order placement, with door delivery in three to seven business days for metro pincodes and seven to twelve business days for non metro pincodes.
International orders are shipped via DHL Express, FedEx, or Aramex, with indicative delivery in seven to fifteen business days excluding customs clearance time. Tracking links are emailed at the time of dispatch.
Risk of loss passes to you on delivery confirmation by the courier. If a package is marked delivered but you have not received it, please contact us within 48 hours at contact@trinetraart.in so we can open an investigation with the courier.
8. Cancellation by you
You may cancel any order, free of charge, before it is dispatched. Once dispatched, the cancellation request is treated as a return under our Refund and Return Policy.
9. Refunds, returns, and replacements
Our complete Refund and Return Policy is published as a separate document, linked from every product page and from the website footer. The policy meets the cooling off period requirements of the Indian Consumer Protection Act 2019 for domestic orders, and the fourteen day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011 83 EU for orders shipped to the European Union, the United Kingdom (under retained EU law and the Consumer Rights Act 2015), and other jurisdictions that recognise an equivalent statutory right.
10. Intellectual property
All content on trinetraart.in (photographs, copy, motif designs, layouts, code, branding) is the property of Trinetra House or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and trade dress laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the website without our prior written consent. Personal browsing and lawful private use are of course permitted.
11. User generated content
If you submit a review, comment, photograph, or any other content to the website, you grant Trinetra Art a worldwide, royalty free, non exclusive licence to host, display, and use that content for the operation and promotion of the website. You represent that the content is original, does not infringe any third party rights, and is not unlawful, defamatory, or obscene. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trinetra Art's total liability arising out of or in connection with any single order is limited to the amount paid by you for that order. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss of goodwill.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
13. Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government action, civil unrest, courier strikes, customs delays, or breakdown of utilities and telecommunication networks.
14. Privacy and data protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on the website footer. For European Union customers, the data controller is Trinetra House and you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, and portability by writing to contact@trinetraart.in. For Indian customers, your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 are honoured through the same email channel.
15. Cookies
The website uses cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookies Policy. By continuing to use the website you consent to the placement of essential and analytics cookies. Marketing cookies are placed only with your explicit consent through the cookie banner.
16. Modifications to these Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The latest version is always published on this page with an updated "Effective from" date. Material changes will be notified to registered customers by email at least seven days before they take effect. Your continued use of the website after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
For customers in India, these Terms are governed by Indian law and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
For customers outside India, these Terms are governed by Indian law, but you may also rely on any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you ordinarily reside that cannot be derogated from by contract.

The grievance officer will acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 30 days, in line with the rules referenced above.
